Hilltop Campus
Georgetown University’s Hilltop Campus is located in the heart of the Georgetown neighborhood and is the primary home to the College of Arts & Sciences, the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, the Robert E. McDonough School of Business, the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service and the Medical Center campus, including the School of Medicine, Biomedical Graduate Education, the School of Nursing and School of Health. The 104-acre campus includes student residences that can accommodate nearly 6,000 students, world-class academic buildings and a multitude of athletic facilities.
Capitol Campus
Just minutes from the U.S. Capitol and U.S. Supreme Court, the Capitol Campus houses Georgetown Law and the McCourt School of Public Policy. The campus is also home to centers, institutes and academic programs from schools spanning the university. Students have access to a residential living community while being steps away from world-class museums, multitude of cuisines and other vibrant cultural attractions in downtown DC.
School of Continuing Studies
With its primary residence in the heart of downtown Washington, DC, the School of Continuing Studies (SCS) offers graduate programs in professional and liberal studies, more than 30 professional certificate programs, custom and corporate training and education, summer school and special programs and the university’s only part-time bachelor’s program. SCS will move to a new home on the Capitol Campus in the fall of 2025.
Georgetown University in Qatar
Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q) is the Qatar campus of Georgetown University and was established in 2005 in partnership with Qatar Foundation. GU-Q offers a four-year undergraduate program in international affairs, which awards a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service degree. The Qatar campus is dedicated to promoting intellectual, ethical and spiritual understanding through serious and sustained discourse among people of different faiths, cultures and beliefs.
