Karah Knope grew up growing crystals from science experiment books. Today, she runs a university lab growing crystals and studying inorganic chemistry’s applications to sustainability and energy.

Georgetown has partnered with the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) to fund joint research projects between researchers at the two institutions and support collaborative educational programming.
