Title: Global Faculty Grants — Call for Proposals, Deadline Mar. 12

Dear colleagues,

I am writing with information about fall 2023 Global Engagement Faculty Grants. The deadline for fall 2023 applications is Sunday, Mar. 12 at 11:59 p.m.

These programs are open to all full-time faculty across all of Georgetown’s campuses, including Georgetown University in Qatar.

Global Engagement Grants

International Collaborative Grants support joint conferences, workshops or seminars involving at least two full-time Georgetown faculty and at least one foreign collaborator. These grants cover eligible economy travel and meeting expenses up to $15,000.

Global Humanities Faculty Seminars support speaker series around issues of culture, identity, narrative and power that cut across national boundaries. These grants are up to $12,500 each.

These grant programs are mainly designed to support research collaboration in the context of seminars, workshops and conferences–not individual research per se. The Main Campus Research website offers additional information about research opportunities and resources.

Campion Hall (Oxford) Residency

Please note that we are not accepting applications for the Campion Hall (Oxford) Residency program at this time. We envision accepting applications again in the fall 2023 grant cycle.

Please direct any queries about the Global Engagement grant programs to global@georgetown.edu.
