Welcome to my dorm room! I live in Harbin Hall, one of the largest and most iconic freshman dorms at Georgetown. The floors are each divided into three clusters of double rooms which each share a common bathroom. With about 50 people per floor, Harbin is great for building community and getting to know everyone you’re living with! Harbin is also conveniently located across from Cooper Field, and super close to Leo’s Dining Hall, the Healy Family Student Center, and the Leavey Center. Fun fact: it’s also where former President Bill Clinton spent his freshman year!
I absolutely love my room and in this video I share just a few of the things I did to make it feel more like home. From covering my closet in pictures of my family and friends to hanging up posters of my favorite movies and even a life-sized pillow of my dog, I really wanted to feel comfortable and at ease in the place I’d be living for the next year! I also show off the general layout of the room, which has lots of closet and desk storage, a mini fridge and microwave included, and some pretty great views of our campus.
