The Current Situation in Ukraine: Prospects for War Termination

See details below.] On Monday, November 20, the department’s Master of Arts in Conflict Resolution is hosting peace practitioners from the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) to discuss recent developments in the Russia-Ukraine War. In particular, this discussion will touch on prospects for war termination, the role of security institutions in the conflict, and the future of Russia. USIP’s Ambassador William B. Taylor, Vice President, Russia and Europe, and Dr. Mary Glantz, Senior Advisor, will join us for this fireside chat from 3:30 to 5:00 PM ET in the Arrupe Multipurpose Room. Dr. Katy Collin, director of the M.A. in Conflict Resolution at Georgetown University, will be moderating the talk. Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served for attendees.
