Dear Student,
The request process for housing accommodations on the basis of disability for the 2024-2025 academic year began on November 6, 2023, and will extend through this year. Please be aware that as general housing selection progresses, space availability becomes more limited.
Students seeking housing accommodations should submit requests and required supporting documentation by the early action deadline of February 1, 2024. Completing requests by this deadline will allow sufficient time for the Academic Resource Center to review requests and for the Office of Residential Living to process administrative steps associated with approved accommodations prior to the start of general housing selection. Students who complete their requests by the early action deadline of February 1, 2024, will receive their housing assignments prior to the start of general housing selection.
While requests for housing accommodations will be accepted and considered after February 1, 2024, requests completed after this date will be subject to housing availability, and the requested accommodation may not be immediately available. All requests submitted after this date will be reviewed on a rolling basis after the general housing selection process has concluded, and housing assignments for these requests will be communicated starting in June 2024.
Early submission of requests and documentation is strongly encouraged, and all students should plan to participate in the general housing selection process unless notified otherwise by the Office of Residential Living.
Action dates for housing accommodation requests are published through the Academic Resource Center and the Office of Residential Living. Any student seeking housing accommodations or who has questions about the request and/or review process should review the Academic Resource Center’s housing and dining accommodations website. Students with additional questions should contact the Academic Resource Center at archousing@georgetown.edu.
