Title: Announcing the Capitol Campus Loop

Dear Members of the Georgetown University Community,

We are writing to share some exciting news about a new Capitol Campus loop that will begin this evening, Monday, Jan. 22.

In addition to the recent changes that the Office of Transportation Management (OTM) announced regarding the GUTS Capitol Campus route, which now links the Hilltop Campus to the School of Continuing Studies, the Law Center, and 55 H St. NW, the new route – called the Capitol Campus Loop – will connect riders with local neighborhoods and major points of interest, including Union Station and Trader Joe’s. This service, which is being launched as a pilot for the Spring 2024 semester, is free for all faculty, staff, and students. GU IDs must be presented to board the bus.

The Capitol Campus loop alternates on a continuous A and B route, from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Passengers are advised to take note of the current route when boarding. Please view the full schedule on OTM’s website.

The OTM shuttles can be tracked via NextGUTS on the Georgetown University mobile app.

At the end of the semester we will assess the program, including gathering feedback from our community, and determine how to move forward.

Please reach out to OTM at otm@georgetown.edu with any questions.

Sincerely,

The Office of Transportation Management
