Baratta Center Roundtable on Cross-Border Investing
De-risking Investments Impacted by National Security – Emerging Challenges and Opportunities for Investors.
The Baratta Center for Global Business at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business is convening a roundtable on March 20, 2024, to focus on and discuss some of the biggest challenges confronting western and non-western investors alike in the next five years and how to approach them.
The United States and its allies are seeking to de-risk their economies, not just from China but from a wide variety of emerging national security challenges that surround inbound and outbound foreign investments. Meanwhile, the perception of the linkages between the economy and national security continues to evolve.
