Remember This: The Legacy of Jan Karski Today

Join Academy-Award nominated actor David Strathairn, writer/ director Derek Goldman, Producer Eva Anisko. and special guests on Thursday April 11th, 5 pm as we celebrate the legacy of legendary Georgetown Professor, World War II hero and Holocaust witness Jan Karski with the first public campus screening of the celebrated film Remember This and accompanying discussion about the immediacy and resonance of Karski’s example in the context of today’s world.
This event celebrates the 110th anniversary of Karski’s birth and the 10th anniversary of the original launch of the Remember This project at the Karski Centennial Celebration. It also inaugurates the Karski Legacy Initiative, to enable Georgetown students, faculty, and the wider community to gather annually to commemorate Karski by engaging with Remember This.
