Finding Hope in Nihilism
On April 3rd from 12:00pm-1:15pm EST the Health and the Public Interest Seminar Series will be hosting Arlando ‘Tray’ Jones III, Program Associate at the Georgetown University Prisons and Justice Initiative.
Arlando “Tray” Jones III is a Program Associate at PJI, where he supports program administration, reentry, and communications. Tray was wrongfully convicted at 16 years old and served 37 years, two months, and a day in prison before being released in July 2022. Tray was a student, collaborator, and frequent guest speaker in Georgetown classes on criminal justice, and he was the center of a 2021 Making an Exoneree investigation and documentary. Tray is passionate about philosophy, holding a bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology from Coppin State University. He has published two autobiographical books, “Old Too Fast, Smart Too Late,” and “Eager Street.”
