Linguistics Department Friday Speaker Series

The Linguistics Department invites both academic scholars and professionals using linguistics in careers outside of academia to speak on Fridays throughout the academic year. Lectures feature cutting-edge academic research in applied, computational, theoretical and sociolinguistics (RESEARCH TALKS) or focus on career pathways for linguists in business, government, nonprofit and tech (CAREER TALKS). Events take place in Poulton 230 and on Zoom.
