International Implications of the U.S. General Election

The Georgetown Journal of International Affairs will present a panel on the International Implications of the U.S. Election on November 5th, 2024, as part of a broader series of events by the Georgetown Institute of Politics and Public Service.

Panelists: 

• Steven Feldstein is a senior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in the Democracy, Conflict, and Governance Program. His research focuses on technology and politics, U.S. foreign policy, and the global context for democracy and human rights.
• Dennis Wilder is a senior fellow for the Initiative for U.S.-China Dialogue on Global Issues at Georgetown University, where he previously served as the managing director. Wilder holds a B.A. from Kalamazoo College and an M.S. in foreign service from Georgetown University.
• Josh Ruebner is the Policy Director at the Institute for Middle East Understanding Project and the author of Shattered Hopes: Obama’s Failure to Broker Israeli-Palestinian Peace (2013) and Israel: Democracy or Apartheid State? (2017). 
• Benjamin Geden is the director of the Wilson Center’s Latin America Program. He also serves as an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University. He is a former South American director of the National Security Council staff at the White House.
