2025 Lannan Symposium: “Writing Climate”
Join us for the 2025 Lannan Symposium: “Writing Climate,” happening from March 25-27, 2025. Hosted by the Lannan Center, the Earth Commons, Climate Rights International, and Georgetown Humanities Initiative, this event explores how literature can address the climate crisis.
We’ll hear from amazing speakers like Amitav Ghosh, Rebecca Solnit, and Kumi Naidoo, plus panels on Indigenous perspectives, climate action, and imagining the future. All events are free and open to the public.
