Thank you, President DeGioia for your tremendous commitment to Georgetown’s mission. In particular, I’d like to thank you for teaching a First-Year Seminar each fall for as long as I can remember. The impact your teaching has made on the academic orientation of our newest students can’t be put into words. On a personal level, I want to thank you for being the kind of leader who welcomes the children of employees into your office each December and treats them to candy, crafts, and a photo with Santa. I’m grateful for the time and care you’ve devoted to making Georgetown a vibrant learning community and home away from home. Thank you, and best wishes for your continued recovery!
