Dear Class of 2020: In this unprecedented time of COVID-19 where your world has been turned upside down with Georgetown University closing to protect you and everyone at Georgetown, I send my congratulations to all of you for persevering and going where no class in history has ever gone before. You, the Class of 2020, are trailblazers in the world of online learning. Never in the history of the University has this been done before. And while you might see the lack of physical classrooms and contact with your fellow students and professors as a negative, just remember that you are pioneers in an entire new way of learning that no generation has ever done before. With that in mind, go forth in the world and be the amazing trailblazers that you are and bring your light to the rest of the world. I wish you all of the best in your graduation and your years ahead.
