Our Dear Caroline –
CONGRATULATIONS! We are so excited that you will be graduating from Georgetown University this week! You are leading the way for Nicholas and all your cousins to follow. We anticipate that life will get better as the viral infection subsides. In the meantime, we want you to know that you have every support from your parents and from all of us.
We now want to tell you a story. Once, Po Po and I were low due to work problems and my arthritis. We were half-awake in bed. Po Po saw my father and mother who had passed on, walking slowly on a dirt road. They turned to her and he said: “Tell Ken not to worry. He just needs to step over it!” As he said this, he lifted his right foot to show Po Po how to do it! I hope you will find our experience inspiring as we have over the years.
