Dear Students,
As a reminder, all students–regardless of where you will be living for the Fall semester–must complete the Fall 2020 Affirmation and provide the address where you will be taking your courses. Please log into the GU360 website, click on the “Fall 2020 Affirmation” icon, and follow the instructions. You must complete the Fall 2020 Affirmation by Wednesday, August 5, 2020.
If you are a first-year student applying to live on campus, please wait to complete the Fall 2020 Affirmation until you have received a decision regarding your application.
If you already completed the Fall 2020 Affirmation before President DeGioia’s July 29 announcement regarding changes to the University’s Fall plans and your housing plans have changed as a result of this announcement, please log back into GU360 to update your Fall 2020 Affirmation responses, including your new address.
It is vitally important for all students to provide your address and your emergency contact information so that we are able to reach you and your emergency contacts in the event of an emergency this Fall. In addition, we must maintain accurate records of students who are living in the District of Columbia to comply with DC Department of Health guidance relating to the pandemic.
If you indicate in the Fall 2020 Affirmation you will be living on campus or in the Georgetown, Burleith, or Foxhall neighborhoods this Fall, we will provide two free washable and reusable face coverings and a thermometer. You also will have access to free COVID-19 testing and other services through One Medical, a health care provider we are working with to implement the University’s health and safety plan. Students living on campus or in these neighborhoods will participate in the University’s testing protocol and will receive more information about One Medical in the coming days.
Thank you for taking this important step. We are deeply grateful for your care and commitment to the wellbeing of the Georgetown University community.
Sincerely,
Todd A. Olson, Ph.D.
Vice President for Student Affairs
