Students in Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy travel to the Dominican Republic over spring break to evaluate the effectiveness of local water and education projects.
March 22, 2016 – Twelve graduate students in the McCourt School of Public Policy traveled to the Dominican Republic during spring break to evaluate the effectiveness of awater quality project anda pre-K education program.
The students went as part of McCourt Policy in Practice (MPiP), MPiP, a student-led organization that partners with local communities and nonprofits in developing countries to provide residents with access to better services and an improved quality of life.
