Dan Fleisch, Professor Emeritus of Physics, Wittenberg University
Abstract: After working in industrial research and development for 17 years, Georgetown Physics graduate Prof. Dan Fleisch began teaching university-level physics and astronomy in 1997; he also began writing supplemental Student’s Guide physics texts in 2008. In this presentation, Prof. Fleisch describes the challenges and rewards of developing curricula and writing non-traditional texts to deliver physics to students and readers whose preparation varies widely.
