“Extramural Research in the Era of COVID-19”

Dr. Lauer will discuss recent trends in NIH extramural grant funding and in the NIH extramural research workforce. He will also review data on how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the research workforce. Finally, he will touch on recent thinking about the responsible conduct of research, especially in light of the pandemic.
