Melanin in Medicine Week 4: Social Media & Storytelling
Georgetown University School of Medicine Student National Medical Association (SNMA) Presents Melanin in Medicine: Liberation Through Black Identity
In celebration of Black History Month, we aim to honor and bring in-depth conversation around key issues faced by current and aspiring Black clinicians and collaborate collectively on brainstorming solutions and compiling resources to navigate medicine both academically and clinically, as both a physician and a patient. This year’s series of events consists of presentations, Q&A panels, documentary viewing, and breakout room discussions around topics impacting Black clinicians.
