Dear Members of the Georgetown University Community,
The DC Department of Health published new public health guidance for schools and institutions of higher education yesterday. We are closely reviewing this guidance and our current policies.
At this time, individuals are still required to wear a mask indoors in University-owned or operated buildings, except when eating or drinking, when alone in a private office, or when in their personal residence.
We will provide additional information about the University’s public health guidelines in the near future, and we appreciate your patience and continued efforts to protect the health and safety of the Georgetown community.
Sincerely,
Ranit Mishori, M.D., MHS, FAAFP
Professor of Family Medicine, Vice President and Chief Public Health Officer
