Title: Submit Interest for the Spring Hoya Transit Pilot Program by 11/30

Dear Students,

In September, we launched the “Hoya Transit Pilot” program in conjunction with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) to help inform decisions related to sustainable and affordable transportation near the University’s campuses based on actual ridership data and student feedback.

Full-time undergraduate and graduate students from all campuses may now apply for participation in the pilot for spring 2023. Selected students will receive a $100 credit to their SmarTrip account, which can be used for transit passes or standard pay-as-you-go transit during the spring semester

Students who are interested should complete the Spring 2023 participation request form no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30

Up to 2,500 participants will be selected through an anonymized random selection process from those who submit a participation request form. Participation in the program for the spring semester is independent of a student’s participation during the fall semester.

You can learn more about the pilot program, its goals, and how this data will be monitored and used on the FAQ page. If you have any questions, please contact hoyatransitpilot@georgetown.edu.

Sincerely,
