2024 Transatlantic Forum for Environmental and Climate Justice
In partnership with Georgetown University’s BMW Center for German and European Studies and supported by the German Embassy in Washington, DC, POCACITO invites you to the 2024 Transatlantic Forum for Environmental and Climate Justice.
Honor the work. Continue the work.
There are stories of success from people-centered environmental and climate justice movements across the United States and Germany, and this year’s forum seeks to celebrate them. But we also want to learn from them, expand them, and use those experiences to develop new visions for a just environmental and climate future.
Join us for conversations with Sharon Lavigne of Rise St. James and Luisa Neubauer and Helena Marschall from Fridays for Future.
Interactive workshops are led by Analyah Schlaeger dos Santos and Tobias Maerz.
Moderator for the day: Brendan O’Donnell, co-founder of POCACITO, art historian and radio host.
All are welcome. Registration is open for in person and online participation. RSVP here.
