Book Launch: Handbook of Aid and Development, with discussion by co-editors and contributors
Join us for a book launch of Handbook of Aid and Development, co-edited by Georgetown professors Raj M. Desai, Shantayanan Devarajan, and Jennifer L. Tobin. The book has chapters written by three other Georgetown professors–Dan Honig, Ken Opalo, and Steve Radelet.
The Handbook of Aid and Development examines the relationship between aid and development, discusses recent trends within the field, and considers its future prospects. This book was written by an array of scholars from around the world and provides critical information for policymakers, policy-oriented scholars, researchers, and students in economics and finance, political science, development studies, international affairs, and public policy.
After an introduction by one of the co-editors, the three chapter authors will present their chapters. A question-and-answer session will follow.
