Canvas, Part I: Creating and Managing a Course
This Canvas workshop is for GUMC faculty and staff. In this workshop, participants will learn the Canvas skills for:
- Creating a course homepage and course pages using Pages
- Uploading and managing course files using Files
- Adding and organizing course contents using Modules
- Sharing course recordings
- Using Calendar to schedule class sessions, events, and appointments
- Using Inbox and Notifications to send emails to course students
Registration and participation require a georgetown.edu, gunet.georgetown.edu, or medstar.net email address. The Zoom link for this workshop will be provided in your registration confirmation email.
