Civic Tech Live with former Ambassador Susan Rice
The Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation at Georgetown University kicks off our Civic Tech Live event series on November 18 with an intimate and inspiring conversation with former Ambassador Susan Rice. This series is kindly sponsored by the Erica Pincus Arabesque Foundation, and will provide Georgetown students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to engage with and learn from leaders in the civic tech space.
Former Ambassador Rice is a distinguished American diplomat, policy advisor, and public official known for her significant contributions to both foreign and domestic policy across multiple presidential administrations. Her career encompasses key roles in the Obama and Biden administrations, with a notable focus on technology policy and initiatives during her tenure at the Domestic Policy Council.
She will discuss her journey in public service and her role as a senior tech policymaker. Attendees will gain insights on the importance of digital delivery skills for senior policymakers and how content can be shifted to highlight these essential skills.
