“How Ira’s Protein led me down a Sugar-Coated Path”

Dr. Tabak will trace his career in academia and government service to provide some career guidance to trainees at various levels. He will summarize some of the administrative challenges NIH (and he) have faced over the past two decades. Interwoven among this framework will be a summary of the research that he has conducted on the structure and biosynthesis of mucin glycoproteins over his career.
