Editing and Annotating Lecture Videos
If you want to change some parts of your lecture video to correct the errors you made in recording and make the video more understandable, interactive, and engaging, you can edit and annotate the video using Panopto and OpenShot Video Editor, a free open-source easy-to-use cross-platform video editor. By the end of this workshop, participants will learn how to:
Use Panopto to:
- Trim a video
- Add a clip to a video
Use OpenShot to:
- Add pointers, shapes, and text to a video
- Cover part of a video
- Export a video reducing its file size
Registration and participation require a georgetown.edu, gunet.georgetown.edu, or medstar.net email address. The Zoom link for this workshop will be provided in your registration confirmation email.
