Join us for a conversation with the authors of “Feminist Foreign Policy in Theory and in Practice” as we discuss highlights from this cutting-edge work. The book outlines how countries can utilize a gender lens as they develop and execute their feminist foreign policy and national security, advocating for women’s full and active participation across all conflict prevention and resolution phases. Authors Susan A. Markham and Stephanie Foster will be joined by GIWPS Executive Director Ambassador Melanne Verveer as they examine the histories of the Women, Peace and Security and the Feminist Foreign Policy agendas, underscoring how they are similar and how they differ.
Light refreshments to follow the event.
