Hoya Harvest Garden: Planting Party
Are you passionate about sustainability and creating a positive impact on the environment? Join the Earth Commons for our second Planting Party of the Fall semester and help prepare the Hoya Harvest Garden, a sustainable and productive campus garden, for the upcoming fall season. You’ll connect with fellow volunteers, learn about our garden and enjoy the outdoors while making a real difference. Free and open to all—plus, we’ll be serving brunch and offering a yoga class!
Activities: Fuel up with free lemonade, bagels, fresh fruits and muffins while we prepare garden beds, plant new seeds, and ensure everything is set for a successful fall harvest. To get warmed up and centered, a yoga class will be offered for up to 30 participants—first come, first served, no equipment required. Make sure to wear clothes that you can move in and that can get dirty, and remember to stay hydrated. If you’re interested in participating in yoga, please arrive at 10 am. See you there!
