Title & Abstract:
“Harnessing genome editing technologies to elucidate cancer biology”
CRISPR/Cas9 technology has enabled an unprecedented ability to dissect complex biological systems. In my talk, I will discuss some of my early work in the field developing tools for guide RNA prediction; building of a manually curated resource of validated guide RNAs; and key applications of genome editing in aiding in drug discovery, single stranded break repair, and identifying novel/ligand receptor pairings in immune cells.
