Peace and Justice during COVID: Discussions with Black Women Peacebuilders
Black women have led the way in justice and peacebuilding efforts in the United States as Black communities faced racial violence and the disproportionate effect of a global pandemic. As the world looks to a new generation to redefine justice for all, it is paramount that we all hear Black women’s stories as we work to build peace and justice in our own communities.
We invite future leaders to join us to learn from and engage with Black Women Peacebuilders from all walks of life as they reflect on their work and the impact of the past year on themselves and their communities.
This event is sponsored in parthership with Georgetown University’s Center for Social Justice and the DC Student Consortium on Women, Peace and Security.
