The Persian Studies looks forward to hosting its next event in the Jalinous Lecture Series, Persian Monuments in Other Lands: Taq Kasra and Darband on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 2:00pm via Zoom. This webinar will feature a discussion with M. Pejman Akbarzadeh, Documentary Filmmaker, Director of Taq Kasra: Wonder of Architecture and Derbent: What Persia Left Behind; and Dr. Hamed Kazemzadeh, Adjunct Professor, University of Calgary and will be moderated by Dr. Ali Mozaffari, Senior Research Fellow, Alfred Deakin Institute, Deakin University, Melbourne.
The discussion will be followed by a Q&A with questions from the audience. Attendees may submit questions ahead of time by emailing them to persian@georgetown.edu.
