Ritmo y Sabor, Georgetown’s Premier Latinx Dance Company, is an on-campus, entirely student-led dance organization, which aims to celebrate the history and style of Latinx culture through dance genres. We welcome you to our 2021-2022 annual showcase, ¡Que Gozadera!, which translates to “What a Joy/What a Party!”, aiming to honor the rich traditions of Latinx culture, opportunity, and excitement through celebration. Among the genres you’ll expect to see are salsa, merengue, bachata, reggaeton, samba, tango, and many more! Please join us in the momentous occasion of returning our annual showcase back to Gaston Hall, as many team members will take the stage here for the first time. We hope to see you there!
Special Notes: All ages are welcome. We advise attendees to be aware of the use of strobe lights and smoke in our show.
Georgetown University is a vaccinated campus. In accordance with University policy, Georgetown students, faculty, and staff must show Georgetown ID (digital or physical) at the door, and visitors must follow instructions to upload vaccine & booster, exemption, or negative test documentation as well as presenting a form of ID. Details will be sent after registration is complete and before the performance.
Based on campus COVID-19 guidelines implemented March 21, masks are optional for students, staff, faculty and visitors. During performances, artists will be performing and vocalizing without masks. Audience members may choose to mask or not in accordance with their respective personal comfort levels.
All patrons should plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the event. If the show is sold out, any unclaimed passes will be released to other patrons on the Stand-By list beginning at 10 min prior.
