Title: Amazon Package Delivery for Faculty & Staff

Dear Faculty and Staff,

We would like to share with you some updates and reminders on the two ways to have Amazon orders delivered to you on campus:

Delivery to Office Location
When requesting delivery of an Amazon order directly to your office or campus location, please make sure to use the following addressing:

[Your Name], [University Faculty or University Staff]
[Your Office Location/Number]
[Your Office Building]
Georgetown University
3700 O St. NW 20057

Using the correct addressing will ensure that your order gets identified as a faculty/staff order, and delivered accordingly.

Delivery to Amazon Hub Locker+ Location
We are excited to announce the launch of a new Amazon pickup location in the Leavey Center East Hallway. This location is open seven days a week for easy Amazon package pickup and return, as well as in-person assistance from an Amazon associate.

This location will be open:

  • Monday – Friday: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Saturday – Sunday: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

When ordering items from Amazon, you can now select the Leavey Center Amazon Hub Locker+ (click to add this location to your Amazon address book) as a delivery location option. You will receive an email directly from Amazon when your package is ready to be picked up. Follow the instructions included in the email to pick up your package in a timely manner.

Note: Due to the high volume of Amazon deliveries, packages meant to be delivered directly to faculty/staff offices are sometimes delivered to the Amazon Hub location. If you receive a Hub Locker+ pick-up notification from Amazon, you may pick up your package from the Amazon Hub. If you would like your package delivered, please forward the Amazon notification to  mailservices@georgetown.edu and a Mail Services team member will arrange pick-up and delivery to you.

Consider These Ways to Care for Our Common Home: Opt to have your items grouped together to limit the number of deliveries to campus. Consider purchasing products from Amazon Climate Pledge Friendly Vendors. Purchase reusable products. Remember to appropriately dispose of shipping waste by recycling boxes and recyclable packaging.
