Congratulations Class of 2020. You have achieved greatly in the last 4 years and have grown as adults because of the educational gifts you have received from Georgetown intellectually, socially and spiritually, values you will carry through life. I am a member of the College Class of 1955 and have benefitted from these enduring values transmitted through the Jesuit Plan of Education which promotes us to be “Men and Women for Others.”
Although world circumstances currently do not permit us to celebrate your graduation in the traditional way, we are heartened to know that you have already received the things you need to succeed in this life as contributors and leaders in our society. May God be with you all the days of your lives.
