Congratulations to my daughter, Paige K. who is graduating from the College as a Psychology major and Biology and Disabilities Studies minor. It’s a bittersweet celebration as it is for many graduates this month. We are so proud of her and all that she has accomplished.
Eight days before Paige began her freshmen year at Georgetown, she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Many people told her she should take a gap year, but Paige jumped right into the fray as she always does. Not only did Paige transition seamlessly into her life as a Type 1 Diabetic, but she made a wonderful life for herself at Georgetown.
In addition to wonderful friends and excellent grades, Paige managed to hold down one or two jobs during school and summers. We wish Paige much success and happiness with her new job in Manhattan. Love you to the moon and back.
