Title: Matthew Allgeier (G’19)

Matthew Allgier
Matthew Allgeier is an MBA student in the McDonough School of Business.

“The Global Business Experience residency was a highlight of my time at the McDonough School of Business.

In Seoul, my teammates and I had the unique opportunity to bullet-train down to Busan, South Korea, where we spent the day with our client and learned firsthand the ins and outs of their operations through free-flowing conversation and factory visits.

The in-country insights, coupled with our pre-residency research, equipped us with the granular-level detail necessary to provide an impactful final deliverable.

My spring global experience in Korea proved that, even in a globally connected world, moving away from the desk and going straight to the source enhances a level of relationships and understanding that would otherwise be lost.

The Korean BBQ and Sundubu are worth the visit alone.”
