Title: COVID-19 Vaccination Required for All Online Nursing Students for Spring 2022

December 3, 2021 – 11 a.m. ET

Dear Student,

I’m writing to inform you that, beginning in the Spring 2022 semester, all online nursing students must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, regardless of whether their instructional components occur remotely, on campus or at an off-campus location used by Georgetown.

As of earlier this week, our records indicate that you have not previously submitted COVID-19 vaccination documentation to Georgetown. Please submit your documentation as soon as possible but no later than January 11, 2022, or apply for a medical or religious exemption by December 10, 2021. Failure to comply may result in a registration hold and withdrawal from classes.

In addition, please make sure you follow all other instructions for accessing campus and public health guidelines.

Please note that off-campus placement sites may have their own COVID-19 vaccination requirement that students will need to meet, which will be communicated separately.

If you have any questions, please contact the University’s Care Navigator team at covidcarenavigator@georgetown.edu.

Thank you for your adherence to these important public health measures as we work together to protect the health and safety of the Georgetown community.

Sincerely,

Ranit Mishori, M.D., MHS, FAAFP
Professor of Family Medicine, Vice President and Chief Public Health Officer
