I am writing today to congratulate my nephew, William L., who is graduating from the Walsh School of Foreign Service. I would also like to extend my congratulations to the entire Georgetown Class of 2020. Throughout the years, William’s consistent hard work with both his academics, as well as with his extracurricular activities has continued to make me enormously proud of him. Most often, William’s extracurricular activities resulted in a benefit to someone other than himself. William exemplifies someone who has the resiliency to persevere throughout difficult times and become stronger from such experiences. He is a determined young man whose commitment to everything he engages in gives me great hope for the future. I wish William, along with all the members of the Georgetown Class of 2020, much success in all future endeavors.
