As the Class of 2022 graduates and the Class of 2020 celebrates their commencement on-campus, we asked the university secretary, a chaplain, barber and others for their words of wisdom.

This May, 87 students graduated from Georgetown University in Qatar, joining more than 600 alumni of Georgetown’s Qatar campus.

Students in the Class of 2022 have produced exceptional research, pursued justice and supported their communities, and they’ll continue to live out Georgetown’s values as they take their next steps.

Georgetown has invited 11 speakers to speak at this year’s commencement ceremonies, including U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
