Hello Class of 2020. Greetings and congratulations from a career academic internist-geriatrician and full time medical school faculty member. These past few months have been disarming for you and the faculty. Your departure from medical school has been very atypical, to say the least. Nevertheless, your graduation remains a reason to celebrate. We look forward to your joining us this July as you begin your specialty journey. Reflect about the past 4 years and your great achievement of becoming a MD. Look forward to this next phase of residency. The growth will be rapid and remarkable.
