We have been closely monitoring unfolding events in Afghanistan in recent days. We want to share our thoughts and prayers with all those directly or indirectly affected by these tragic and difficult events. We also recognize the contributions that many in our community have made toward improving the lives of those in Afghanistan. We encourage members of our community to support and be supported.
For those who wish to support disaster relief efforts, Georgetown’s Center for Social Justice Research, Teaching & Service has worked with a network of Catholic, Jesuit and mission-based partners to identify several organizations serving the affected regions.
