Dear 500 First St. NW Community Members,
We are writing to inform you of upcoming sound mitigation work at 500 First St. NW that will begin on Monday, Dec. 11, and will be tentatively completed by Feb. 15, 2024. This work is being done to help mitigate noise from offices and conference rooms in adjoining spaces.
The work will be conducted overnight and will not impact building community members during business hours. Work will only be conducted during business hours over the university holiday break from Dec. 22 through Jan. 1, 2024.
Please ensure that you clear your desktops and shelves, and remove any valuables while the work is ongoing. The upcoming work may produce dust. Desks and shelves will not be moved but will be covered with plastic.
