Title: Water Outage in Select Buildings Wednesday through Friday (6/14-6/16)

Dear Members of the Georgetown University Community,

Two emergency repairs are needed that will significantly disrupt water service in several buildings, Wednesday, June 14, through Friday, June 16. We recognize this work will be disruptive to many members of our community and apologize for any inconvenience.

Arrupe Hall (No Water)

From approximately 4 a.m. – 12 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, June 14, there will be no water in Arrupe Hall. Residents have already been notified of this work. 

Darnall and St. Mary’s Halls, including Epicurean (No Water)

From approximately 1 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, there will be no water in Darnall and St. Mary’s Halls.

  • Classes and events scheduled in St. Mary’s Hall during the impacted hours will be moved. More information will be communicated to affected faculty and students.
  • The Student Health Center’s operating status will be impacted. Please visit its website for additional information.
  • Epicurean restaurant, on the ground floor of Darnall Hall, will not be open for breakfast or lunch on Thursday, June 15, and is expected to open at 4 p.m. on Thursday. Leo’s, Chick Fil-A and Starbucks will be open as regularly scheduled. Please visit the Hoya Eats website for more information.

Hot Water Outage

From approximately 12 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Friday, June 16, there will be no HOT water in the facilities listed below, but activities may continue as scheduled.
