Tia Z. and James M., Congratulations on your graduation from Georgetown! This would be a great achievement in its own right in any year, but we are in awe of your perseverance, strength of character and positive spirit in the face of the extraordinary dislocations of this year. Cherish each other and the many lifelong friends you have made at Georgetown.
Though your celebrations may be unorthodox this spring, there will be time for extended revelry with your classmates in the future. Over the coming months we know you will remain positive when others may be negative and hold true to your values, not least cura personalis which you both exemplify so well.
