Congratulations! Your hard work and successes throughout your time at Georgetown should be celebrated beyond a doubt! I know it’s difficult not let this temporary historical set-back deflate your feelings of pride or accomplishment (even for a minute), but your grit has sustained you this far. It will see through again. Celebrate your graduation from this amazing institution and as you do this remember all that it means! Remember those around you who you have had the privilege to not only meet, but to know. Remind yourselves that nothing – nothing can take away from what you have accomplished. You own your education. Now…go out and own your experiences in life.
